Hey Everyone, I have read through both the and tuts and can't seem to get this to work for me, I have followed the instructions but when I open the rfa I created (renamed) after adding the out of bounds material to the tank pad, there is nothing in the materailmap.raw. ![]() So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I can open the the map that I renamed and can see the material that I have added ![]() but still nothing in the materialmap.raw. Has anyone gotten this to work? Thanks for your help in advance ![]() |

Did you open Materialmap.raw in BC42? |

What I would do is open my map in Editor42, then add in my out of bounds material where I wanted it, then I should just save 'material'. After that, I copy my modified material map into the map, then pack it all up. I know this probably isn't what the tut says to do, but that's just what I would have done. |

I've followed to tutorial to make the out of bounds in closer for Berlin glitchers, and it worked successfully. I suggest, open in Battlecraft, Copy Level, Open Copy. Add/change out of bounds areas, save. Open Aberdeen_copy.rfa in WinRFA, extract the one materialmap.raw. Add that to Aberdeen_004.rfa (or whatever is your new _00x). _004 is assuming BF1942 is being used, not DC. Make sure it's in the BF1942/Levels/Aberdeen directory in the RFA. |
