its more work, but the way I do all my mods is I extract the map, make the changes then rebuild it into the _00x.rfa I use RFAExtractor to extract and GMake RFA to build the RFA. There is a much steaper leanring curve, but in the end its much more powerful. the two most common errors I have notices are these: #1 bad code (somthing not tpyed write, incrroect modding, etc.) #2 bad rfa (either the rfa was not made correctly, edit correctly, or some out side tool like BC42 was used to edit an rfa) Now BC42 is not a bad too and can do the editing correctly, but I have had issues in the past so I learned to extract and compile rfa manually. |
