Post subject: | help with the crazy spitfire of doom |
if the SSM guys haven't noticed by now, I do heavy mods and a lot with planes Right now I'm getting a modded up plane level up with custom textures. I'm makin a pimpin' Bf109, a Mustang in the colors of Cheetohs (and even has the Cheetah for nose and wing art), and a spitfire of doom. It's in stunt plane colors of red with yellow and white stripes. I wanted to FINALLY give the spitty an advantage over the 109 (they made the spit too slow) and added this code: ObjectTemplate.active Spitfire ObjectTemplate.addTemplate KatyushaRocket_Engine ObjectTemplate.setPosition 0/0/0 ObjectTemplate.setRotation 0/-45/90 Unfortunately, the engines are ALWAYS on, so I have to keep hitting "e" where it spawns so it doesn't take off without me. It is VERY fast, and can do a good 3-4 RPS (Rolls Per Second). How do I link the engine with the regular engine? I want it to work not just when I drop bombs or shoot, or even hit the w key. I'd like it to be normal, so if someone uses a stick it is the throttle, for other people it's the normal forward key, etc. This is, as always for me, Mapside. |

ObjectTemplate.active Spitfire ObjectTemplate.addTemplate KatyushaRocket_Engine ObjectTemplate.setAutomaticReset 1 ObjectTemplate.setInputToRoll c_PIAltFire ObjectTemplate.setPosition 0/0/0 ObjectTemplate.setRotation 0/-45/90 Now that makes right-click active it, you could try c_PIThrottle, which is your normal W/S keys. A list is here: viewtopic.php?t=848 |
