When I put the Russian Engineer pack in it is there and does work, including the No4 but the pack itself doesn't show up, it's invisible.
When I put the medic pack in I got this message when trying to start the server.

disclaimer: I did a search, couldn't find aything. hey all, I tried putting the jap_engineer pack in to DC Berlin and it showed up fine but the type 5 wouldn't fire anything, it shot but nothing came out of it. The other weapons worked but they were the DC counterparts. is there a way to get the type 5 and others to work in DC serverside, perhaps by copying the shooting mechanism from another place and inserting it? |

US_whatever is used by the US team in DC. To insert the BF1942 packs, use USMarine_whatever Or you can try Rus_Engineer, for the Russian one, which would give you a No4. The british team would work the same too. I don't know why your Type5 didnt work, however. |

Nope, I just checked and it's the same problem with the US Marine pack with the Garand. The gun shoots ok, but no bullet actually comes out of the gun. So I shoot at the wall but no strike mark comes up. |

In the pack all the other weapons work, but they seem to use their DC counterparts. I select Expacks but throw C4, I select mines and get the grey ones instead of the green, etc. |

No not yet, but the gun I want is either the Garand or the Type 5. I will try a russian medic pack for ya tho. |
