weapon icons can be changed on a custom map there a line in the weapons kits to change the icons, you can also change the ammo icon for the weapons. Im still looking for a way to change the menus though. |

you can chage the weapon icon to an existing one, but you cannot add new weapons icons, as they are a part of the menu system. |

What weapon icons are you on about, if you on about the ones that pick your class then im not sure but you can make custom icons for the weapon select bar thing |

take the pistol for example. It has a selection icon in the bar at the bottom. You can tell the pistol to use the rifle icon, but cannot make a new tga image and tell it to use that. Or at leaste that is what I found while make BoF (I needed flamethrower and NOS icons but could not add new images becuase the weapon selection icons are contianed in the menu.rfa). Same thing for the weapon icon in the bottom right (the one with the ammo count). If you've found a way to replace images in the menu.rfa, then yes you can replcae the weapon icons, but from what I have seen thus far, menu.rfa cannot be overriden completely. |
