Battlefield Modding Tutorials BFMODS

Hi,

I just wanted to mod (DC_Final's) El Alamein. But in fact I was not able to open it with Battlecraft'42 I took Battlefield 42's El Alamein and mixed them. Now I can't join any DC_Final Server what is running El Alamein, what means that my mixed El Alamein is not serverside->clientside friendly anymore.

Could please anyone give me a clean DC_Final-El Alamein what can be edited with Battlecraft and still be serverside->clientside friendly?

I want to mod it with BC42... and after I 'modded' some thingies I want to save it and upload it. But players should still be able to play it without downloading anything.

Btw. if you really want to give me a editable El Alamein map, you may upload it on rapidshare and post the link ... I guess it's the most simple way

To be able to play DC_Final El_Alamein you need:

unless you know which one is missing or corrupt it might be quicker re-installing from scratch.

-> Then I unpacked Desert Combat's El Alamein into the same folder and I overwrote some files.
-> Then I unpacked Desert Combat Final's El Alamein into the same folder and I overwrote again some files.

-> I removed all the vehicles and put some other vehicles in

-> I tried to connect to a El Alamein server, but I could not connect. So I could get sure that my "El_Alamein.rfa" is not clientside compatible (what means: If I upload it, everyone who wants to play on it needs to download the map, too[, what I don't want!])

I wish there is some serversidemodder around who has a clean "El_Alamein.rfa" of DC_Final (because there are many modded DC_Final El Alamein maps around)
