Here is a Screenshot of my desktop. ![]() As you can see I have copies of all three Objects.rfa's and all of my current works on my desktop. I also have all my "finished" SSM's inside a folder on my desktop. Down near the start menu I have the quick link to start my server manager. And in the opposite corner, high right corner of picture, I have a fast folder to the levels rfa's inside the server files. I find this method works quickly for me and it leaves me with the ability to keep several copies of all my Mods in at least two locations on my PC, the SSM Maps folder as well as the servers folder when tests are complete. Does anyone else wish to share their setup? Maybe, we can all come up with better ideas, for each of us to simplify and keep organized? I have a feeling that someone out there has a better way to do some of this. |

nice wallpaper. ![]() Anyway I have a short cut that point to a folder with all the tools I use for moding. In that folder I also have a folder of complete SSMs. I however extract all the files in the map and keep a copy all along the way. (I only use some files, the only *complete* map is the orginal backup). Then use FTP to upload to my server (as VNC does not allow file transfere) then I test from there. |
