I was just wondering if anyone here knows how to make those messages that show up in the middle of the screen that everyone can see. I've been on servers where the admin would sometimes post those messages telling people "not to basecamp" or "not sit on repair pads".

I was thinking it would really help me out explaining what things have been changed or answer questions people had. The chat screen moves so fast and most people don't even pay attention to it. Like if they're flying or driving. It just seems I have to answer the same questions over and over again. I know I can put info on the welcome screen, but from what I can tell is most people don't even read it

I've searched console commands but no luck

You can do a admin.serverMessage "Insert Message Here" to create yellow text on the bootm left-hand corner, but I dont think there is a way to do the middle of the screen.

It comes in line with the player chat and disappears much more quickly; it's always a gamble as to whether or not the person you're trying to speak to actually even saw it. Also, unless something has changed very recently, it will only put in what you say up to the first space, so when in came I always had to use dots or underscores between.every.word.I.said.

BlagBagOps BxSM utility will let you do it on the players tab but he said he used some programmatic trick to get around the space limitation. I've also head of someone using an Alt key sequence to beat it but I never did figure that one out.

Don't know I to put them right in the middle screen, but when using BFSM you can display messages in the left corner previously typed at regular intervals of time!

I think it's enough to tell those stupid basecampers to get out of here!
