I'm tring change somethings in a couple of the CTF maps for DC Final. I'm new to the editing of SSM and need some help.

First off I want to take the Heavy Sinper rifle out off a CTF but leave it in the Conquest map. How do I do that? I've tried just deleting it but it did not work. May not have picked the right file.

Second off is there a way to add a kit just to CTF and not Conquest? I want to add a stinger kit, but only have it in CTF.

Last thing is there a way to take out a object, say an ammo box, in CTF but leave it in the Conquest map?

you can use specific kits for different gametypes by remming out the kit info stuff in the init.con, and put it at the beginning of ctf.con and conquest.con, with changes in each.

use this same method for you ammo box (remove it out of staticobjects.con, and only put it in conquest.con only).

i re-read your post, and i think what you want to do is remove crated kits in maps in a certain game mode? i thought you meant change the weapon kits of the soldiers themselves...

anyways, it's still possible.

go into StaticObjects.con and find where the kit is that you want to remove from CTF mode.

When you find it, copy it and paste it at the end of Conquest.con (if you want the kit to be in conquest mode).

Then, go back to StaticObjects.con, and put a "beginrem" before where the crate is created, and put a "endrem" after where it's created (this will comment it out).

Now the kit will be in your Conquest game, but in your CTF game, you'll still see the crate, but there will be no weapons to actually pick up (plus you'll be able to walk through the crate).

you can use the exact same method for the ammobox which would yield the exact same results.
