Yeah, have you seen the minimum specs for BF1942?

500 MHz CPU
128 MB RAM
3D accelerated 32 MB video card(Nvidia Recomended) or equivalent with HTL and a 24-bit z-buffer
1.6 GB free hard disk space plus space for saved games
8X Speed CD-ROM/DVD-ROM
DirectX 9 Compatible Sound Card

It's similar but it's not by any stretch the same gun. I looked a bit, and the Type 5 was a Jap experimental rifle that they made to counter the M1 Garand. It never entered service though.

Well as you can see in the screenshot, it didnt work.

game.setMultiplayerBriefingMapType actually modifies the "Map Type"

Don't you write the comments via server manager?

Yes, the comments are what appear as the Server's message, set in the BF Server Manager.

Whoa! Fix that mess you got going on at the top. I believe only a short title type thing is supposed to be up there.....I think that is supposed to be where the map type is indicated. So only a few words are meant to be up there. A whole paragraph will never fit!

Anyways, yes the comments are controlled by the serversettings.con file. And no...It isn't map specific, so all maps will say the same thing. (that's if it's a server though...pure singleplayer it will be blank no matter what)
