I just meant edit the heightmap a little in BC then re-save it.

I changed the heightmap, and sent it to my friend...and it still crashed him. Are there any other usual suspects that could cause it to crash?

Copy map and remove thing after thing.
Then it's only hightmap left that cause the problem.

First, copy OST, OS, flags, init, and any other ".con" file, then re-create the map and move everything slightly to be on the ground or however it was before.

Did this fix it?

I never heard of or had a corrupted heightmap... if it works for you and not for your friend it doesnt sound like a heightmap issue..

Can anyone else load it up or just you?

I think just me...unfortunately I've been busy with a lot of things lately, so this map has been put on the back burner. It's 95% complete though, and I'd like to finish it. If anyone wants a zipped or rar'd copy of the map, let me know and I'll upload it somewhere.
