What program do you use for modeling? GMAX?

And im having trouble witgh the skinning as well this si what im trying to incorperate into the game

I know i need to make like front and back top and bottom but i really dont even know how to postion this thing at all

Okay so anyway 2 questions number one what program do you use to do modeling gmax? or 3dsmax? or something else number 2 I suck at skinnning I will pay someone to get this skinned into the game for me

To create 3D models or meshes there are a few 3D modeling programs such as GMax, 3DStudioMax, Maya, Bryce, Rino, AC3D and the list can go on.

When you say that you want to "skin" this object into the game, do you mean you already have the 3D mesh file with surfaces ready to be textured or skinned ?

Or are you saying that you want to make a BF42 map/mod that contains this object in the paintball terrain map you designed ?

Or do you wish to "import" this object into the BF42 engine so that it can be used as a player weapon ?

The paintball terrain map you designed is good and there are objects that can be used to make that into a BF42 map.

As far as "skinning" that object into BF42 is a bit more complex than just creating a texture file for it.

First you need to have the object in a 3D mesh that is in the .sm ( StandardMesh ) format, than the suface directionals need to be edited so that all the solid sufaces are facing outward and material properties set, then the actual texturing or skinning is done followed by the objects coding ( weapon attributes etc. )

Please clarify exactly what you have so far and what are your intentions.

I wanted to make it a player weapon as far as files I have made for it ther are none like i said i suck at this and dont know were 2 start the picture is all i have LOL
