Why? I can see many practical uses for spawning more static objects that everyone can see..

OK here it is:

I have done extensive research and this is what I have come up with.

A static object does not need NetworkableInfo.
Why? Because the info is stored on both the server and the client.
The client doesn't need to know if the info has changed because it never changes. (hence the name "static")

A spawnable (or movable) object needs NetworkableInfo in order for the client to see the movement when it is changed on the server.
The NetworkableInfo is the information about the object that is relayed over the network to let the client know that the position of the object has changed.

Child PCO's (also referred to as "ripped out PCO's") need NetworkableInfo in order for the clients to see turret movement, etc.

Whether an object has hitpoints or not has absolutely nothing to do with it being spawnable SSM or not.
If an object has hitpoints, it simply means that it is destructable, nothing more.

From MDT
NetworkableInfo Property

Usage:
ObjectTemplate.NetworkableInfo name

Argument values:
argument 1: AA_Allies_BodyInfo, AA_Allies_GunInfo, AA_Allies_TurretInfo, AA_Base_BodyInfo, AT25BodyInfo, AirTower_NVA1Info, AirTower_NVA2Info, AirTower_NVA3Info, AirTower_US1Info, AirTower_US2Info, AirTower_US3Info, ...

Description: Set the name of the network id for this object. Once set, other players will be able to see the object moving, rotating, etc., over the network. See the NetworkableInfo class. Another name used to set this same property is SetNetworkableInfo.

 Hi guys,

Actually I was the retard that put up the question that caused the little storm.

Good thing is that the definition is crystal clear to me now. Wondering if maybe
reopening the static object with ObjectTemplate.Active and adding the networ-
kableinfo to the object/static would be possible. Will try this soon, but theoretical
it shouldn't work.

Sorry tho for the inconvenience I caused.
