FYI, firing heat seekers at Rocket Engines will cause crash, so remove them from map. |

Ive seen depth charges dropped from spawners in the air. Ok, its not your perfect airstrike but it does a fairly decent job of giving you automatic, continual harrasment from the sky. |

I like the idea of adding map "environment" attributes. It gives a more dynamic battle feel to any map being played. I have added some self flying jets to the map "DC No Fly Zone" with a few sets of F-16, F-15, Mig-29 and Mirage jets that fly around the map in delta formations in my BF1942/DC/DC_Final/DCX9 game server. ( to see a short movie of what they look like, click the link below ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cod7Y8Aw7vE *************************************** This is what's so good about this "serversidemodding" website/forum, all these good ideas on what would make gaming more fun and presenting questions on how can we make these ideas work on game servers on a server sided modification. I say thanks to all of you that contribute these good ideas and more thanks to those of you that take the time to offer your help and advice to get them working. This is a community of people that like playing this online game and helping each other to make it even more fun. It's NOT about who is the best modder or who has the best server, it is NOT a compitition here and it is NOT a place to put people down because of their tastes in colors, modding preferances or lack of modding experience. It's because of this website that many people ( including myself ) have learned and shared a great deal of modding techniques and information that has educated them to make mods for playing this game so much more fun and contributing a large variation of gameplay. Keep up the good work gentlemen. **************************************** |

I think i may have something for auto-bombardment etc. I have made the binoculars fire heavy bomber bombs. I adjusted the fire position to be a higher up, and further away. Im testing it right now, and if it works ill post the code. It will make a better job of artillery barrages than the remote cameras. Imagine Omaha if i got the bots to use it properly. Im not sure if it can be done server side though. EDIT Guys Im stuck. The bombs drop, but directly on to you. I cant seem to get them to drop further away. can anyone help me? |
