the M9 is not based off of the Walter, its based off of the Colt, and instead of replacing standardmesh files, just go into the geometries.con and type in the appropriate names.

I'm confused.... Explain please (I'm a little stressed about this been trying at it for hours). Whether I rename the actual .sm files, or I change the name of the file in geometries.con, what difference does it make? It should still read them and use them correctly....If not explain why cause this isn't making any sense. I'm an SSM'er, this stuff can be a bit beyond my grasp sometimes.

pack the M9 meshes, and textures into a standardmesh and texture.rfa folder, then go to the Colt Geometries.con and change all the Geometry File names to the names of the M9 Meshes, after check DC to see if they have any setPosition and setRotations on any of the parts in the Objects.con where they are added to the complex. After that, it should work fine.

But I don't want to replace the colt....I want to replace the P38. I don't understand why it matters.
Much as I hate to ask I think someone should do this for me....Or at least be more step-by-step about explaining it. It's not my fault I'm a frigging idiot.

So...what your saying is... What I want is impossible? Or can it be modified? Or would it be a better idea to forget I ever tried this?
If I can't have a DCF M9, I would settle for the FH /BattleGroup42 Luger...Would that be easier?
