Battlefield Modding Tutorials BFMODS

I looked up and down ... nobody else had the idea to make a nightversion of El_Alamein or other DCF maps ?
I wonder if its doable via SSM, or maybe someone knows how to do it via DCF Mod.

Sounds like an idea ? plz let me know

Well I'm sure you can do it, but not SSM. I believe the graphics aspect of the game is all controlled client side, so it would probably either not work at all, or cause crashes.

Just like RSE said, cant be done SSM. If you still want to do it as a clientside mod, you have to change the skybox and the sun settings. I think both things can be adjusted from the same skyandsun.con file. Just make the sun have lightningsettings of the moon (blue-ish/white), turn shadows off (well, not really necessary, but i would do it), and make a new skybox using some graphics program, or use the stuff from bashrahs night. Also, terrain texutures must be darkened.

Allright, i got it to where the vehicles and all is dark, (Operation Bragg), but i cant seem to get the sky dark ...

I changed the init/terrain to that of Operation Bragg, looks cool already ...

But i still have bright blue sky and light Buildings + the sun to go with it:(
