i think it will always cut of after a short time period, we have tested some before without finding any solution. one idea i had was if one somehow could set the input trigger as they do with engines, eg the rocketengine is always on, but i havent got that to work as for now anyway.

isn't -1 considered infinite in weapons, thus my thinking is that it will fire indefinitely at an incredible rate

The laser dot sight is done! It still lags a bit, but works much better then before. I change the "ObjectTemplate.roundOfFire" to "-1" as WhatThe suggested & it seemed to smooth the effect out a bit. Not sure what this variable does... can't find info on MDT website about it. Another bug i found with the laser dot sight, is that not all objects have collision meshes... for example the us_assault_backpack. The laser dot also dances around on the soldiers. Overall though it works pretty good!

Here's the files for it if anyones wants



for the object/mesh of the projectile i just used the "bullet_m1.rs" & changed the mat id to 1051.

-1 is infine, so it has a infinite round of fire.

This might very well be the solution for autofire

i just tried it with "ObjectTemplate.roundOfFire -1" & "ObjectTemplate.magSize -1" together & it still cuts out after about 5secs. where is this autofire listed anyways? i can't find it anywhere on the MDT website... only here.
