Hi, I would like to know if there is any tweeking mod that is our there or can be made for the hind in DesertCombat .7. I am looking for something that will make the hind handling better. I am not worried about the speed, just the handling.. it it controlled more like an Apache, that would be great.

I did a search for a possible hind tweeking SSM but was not able to find any.

Thanks,

Dan

Copy the apache's physics.con file and rename it and replace the hind's. It should be enough to make them control similarly. Just make sure you change all the names inside the file so it doesn't crash.

Try copying the "ObjectTemplate.inertiaModifier " setting from the apache's objects.con file to the Hind's Objects.con file. Much of the way it behaves in the air is defined by this setting. The rest are engine tweaks.

You'll find both in the Objects/Vehicles/Air folder in the archive.

Just paste that into the ObjectSpawnTemplates.con file for the maps you will be running. (

Tankerbot, where can I find this file. I mean in what program? I searched the Col. Cruachan's RFA explorer but found nothing.

You find this in the Objects.rfa file!

The objects.con file is within this archive. The Mi24d and Apache vehicles are within the Vehicles/Air folder! You'll find more folders in the air folder and two of them have the vehicle names your looking for. Find the objects.con file in each and carry out the change I suggested earlier)
