did you try putting it in the init.con in Berlin_003.rfa? that should work... well sorry It didn't

EDIT: here's why it wont work: your file Gerkit/Super/Objects.con needs to be Gerkit/Super_kit/objects.con. the same as your kit name. and remember to place it in the init.con of Berlin_003!

Ok, I made something happen now! It works, but for some reason it would not work unless I changed the original files in \Mods\bf1942. I didn't really want to do this, but I guess I didn't set up my mod correctly. Apparently it's still using the standard game files instead of the ones in it's own directory. I have all the files backed up so that's no problem but I wanted to keep this separate from the original 1942 (so I don't have to deal with 'data differs from server' problems).

Also, for some reason it assigned the weapons in my custom kit to number keys 2-6 instead of 1-5. The selection icons are also mismatched now, is there a way to rearrange those?

no... stop being lazy! that's not the current question.... how does he rearrange the weapons in his kit... the kit works. just not the right order.
