would it be posible to replace the B17 bomber defence guns and replace them with def guns? Also what about AA guns?

I sort of did it with AA guns by making the .50 cals shoot AA_Allies_Projectile. Thats SSM, but actually replacing the turrets with a different PCO wouldn't be but I assume its possible.

its possible on a custom map

just reacreate the B17 and remove all the stock guns and replace them with whatever u like
make shure u use common weapons that have mobilephysics or otherwise they wont move with the unit

ive done this with the prince of wales (the big allied battleship) once
i then replaced all the aagun turrets with phalanx aagatlingguns
no plane was able to hit me

if i find back my old code for it ill post it far ya as an example (if u would ever consider to create a custommap)

Theres an idea for a DC custom map.... replace the AA guns on the battleships with the phalanx guns from the aircraft carrier (like you did?) and then replace the fletcher's cannons with either phalanx guns or some sort of AA or anti ship missile system.
