hey guys,
I am a bit new at modding of BF42..
but I modded the map Bocage (the CTF version)
I wanted to make it like a "stuntmap" with many planes in it etc.
so I placed many planes in it.. and placed a few buildings in it..
the problem is: When the server uploads the file, and put it on the server, you cant play the mod.. but you play the original bocage CTF..
so I heard something of capital letters and stuff..
so my question is: which words have to be in capital.
(I mean in ObjectSpawns.con for example, do I have to write Stuka with a capital or not to make it working..)
Or do you know another way, why i doesnt work..
plz help me..
If you want me to send all ObjectSpawns files etc, ill do that..

What file name did you change? Make sure that you use a _004 or later, since regular BF1942 already has _003 for Bocage.

Also remember that buildings will not show up server-side.

The case of letters only matter on Linux servers, and only the file name itself.

I think you can.
Only problem is, you can't see the objects you added.

1. Attaching files as TXT or even just the RFA is much easier.

2. I think you made up new Spawners, you can not do that, this is probably your problem.

3. Static objects can be added, but can not be seen, and are glitchy because the client doesn't think it's there but the server knows it is.

but cant I make a new map?
so not only a mod for bocage..
but when you download the map, you can play it if the server uploads it?
so I mean: a whole new map with the terrain of Bocage? Only with more buildings and stuff?
