Gregor, thanks for the files. The procedure you described is exactly what I did initially, the only difference being that I named my patch file Market_Garden_013.rfa. Also, I checked my server settings and confirmed that the content checking was off.

The only other difference I can think of may be in editing the main file...if I may ask, what method exactly did you use to insert the ctf.con files into the original Market_Garden.rfa file? There could be something I'm doing that's corrupting this file. Thanks.

I have a (working) version of Market Garden CTF, and can say absolutely that no client download is needed. I'll post up the code when I get home tonight, so you can see what is needed

Here's my market_garden_005.rfa file, featuring only the ObjectSpawnTemplates.con and ObjectSpawns.con in the CTF folder.

The original market_garden.rfa file has the following changes:
CTF.con (zipped and attached) added in the following locations:
BF1942 > levels > Market_Garden
and
BF1942 > levels > Market_Garden > GameTypes

Even though this is a "changed" base level as you indicate, we have not had any issues with clients disconnecting, but we run our server with Content Check mode turned off, so that may have something to do with it.

Where might one find this creation?.....I'm sure i am not alone in wanting to jump in and take it for a spin:)

this is very strange, i dont normaly have problems with it, On El_alamein normal bf1942 i have added spawn points in B1 for axis and F1 for allied, but seems to be lagging my server out, or even when i create local ( test mod:) ) lags my pc out, so i done some experiments and it seems to be when i add spawn points for Axis, any idea's to stop the lag ? ( i done this so many times, but i dont understand why its lagging so bad) i am also having same problem with my battle of britain ctf
