Well, you can modify ObjectTemplate.conversionTime to a value which does specify the time it takes to convert a taken flag into a gray flag. Depending on the fact if we speak about a base or normal capture point, the time it takes from neutral to either team 1 or team 2 seems to be 45 or 15 seconds respectively.

Anybody found a way to change these times server side only ?

thx,

This is the last time I post in BFV...The coding is different and I'm ignorant to that fact.
I'm not buying BFV so I will remain ignorant and be happy.

Thanks, but this applies for 1942, unfortunately not for BFV.

Yeah thought so as well... however if I alter it to lets say 180 in order to achieve 3 mins, it´s actually 180 + 45 (coded or hardcoded somewhere else ?), so ingame it looks like 225, which means 3mins 45 seconds. Ignoring the fact that the client does not show the colored ring properly, it still counts the time down as needed. However it remains either red or blue for 3 minutes and then changes as usual around 44 to 43 seconds into neutral. Taking the flag back acts the same way.
I am looking into a way to protect certain flags on a map (perhaps a main base) having a longer neutral time once they are "almost" taken, to allow the team getting back there before it´s converted into enemy hands already.

What not setting the radius of the main flag too 0.01?
And well then try 180 - 45, maybe that works

At present I am using already values of x - 45 ... so I am getting close to the time I want to have.
What role will the radius play concerning the time ? Or you mean decreasing the radius will make it harder to get the flag since you cannot hop around like some like to do ? ;-)

thanks for your help!

Yeah if you set the radius smaller people can stand under it, but it won't help. I believe the flag is placed at 8.2 meters up the pole. So reducing the radius to 4 or 5 will proberbly not making it capped by tanks or infantry. or place the flag 10 meters under the ground and leave the spawn like they are.
