Ok, So theres this cool cobra in eod that I want to put into my server both SSM and CSM. We have a bfv server and I have seen SSm elsewhere WW2 vehicles in the bfv server. I have looked for this on the forums and could not see the answer. (I believe there is an issue with modding POE items in BFV). Has anyone succussfully imported items? I would think the objects have to be set up in the objects.rfa file, prolly damage in game.rfa, not sure about sounds etc. Is it simpler than this? |

Play WWII with BFV maps and vehicles work. |

So I assume that means changing the map to include for example ww2 objects? Then the sounds etc. need to be pulled in. Are there instructions on how to do this or a tutorial? |

Hmm, you read backwards? Play with WWII. Then you can ad BFV vehicles SS. Play with BFV. Now you can't ad any WWII vehicles SS. If running a mod server, you also have access to org vehicles. If running a org server, you don't have access to mod vehicles. |

There are various languages that read right to left, and sometimes this stuff reads that way - so yes i read backwards i guess. If I can restate then: i can open any eod map and insert a heuy or bfv vehicle. But I cannot open bfv and add an eod vehicle. What I saw last week was ww2 vehicles in flaming dart. This is why i read backwards. So is the assumption then, that if i had ww2 mod when i connected to that server, that the server had ww2 objects, sounds, etc. imported into the bfv files. (wouldnt that create a new mod?) would that work so long as i had the ww2 mod. |
