does any have or know where to get a tutorial on adding tunnels to a map in BC or is it all trial and error?

did u try the link on ther i read allitle of that and it looked like what youre talking about

really want to bury the tunnels like in Cedar Falls or Siagon 68. but have not figured it out YET..

There is a tunnel tool in editor.
Find place on map for tunnel.
Press where the black lines crosses and use smallest brush.
When your happy with size, stop using it.
Ad static object, tunnel of your choise ontop of tunnel hole.
Move it around untill your happy with position, x,y,z,i,j and k direction works.
Press save.
Will it work serverside=No, you can't see it.

OK I am officially a DUMB ASS !! You need to make sure the ground level is deep enough for the tunnel...

Hightmap in BFV is a RAW picture white to black in 256 steps untill patch 1.2 was released.
Now tunnels where introduced.
To be able to get into a tunnel you had to have a negative value of black!
So now RAW picture are in 512 steps, from white to black to .
As soon as it is a negative value, that part will be transparent, both for eyes and feets.
To create this fenomena you can use tunnel tool.
This tool lower ground under level 0 and makes it transparent.
You can also use dig tool, but it will take forever.
This hole should be as small as possible, but not too small, just perfect.

Tired of a sniper using the same bush map after map.
Dig a hole for him under it. All he's going to be is a wet spot.
