alright. ive figured out how to remove overheat on the zippo flame thrower.

heres that stuff you guys want:
game: vietnam
type of mod: mapside
now, heres what i want:
increased damage
super longer range
the flamethrower follows the gunner's view, instead of staying in one spot.

i got confused on the damage system. im figuring, whats with all the materials? do i simply make a new one and do the increased number on the material damage thing?

i have no clue about increased range, didnt see it in tutorial.
same for view following.


also, i wonder if i can make a machine gun rapidly shoot grenades... buuuttt thats for another time.thats easy. i hope. just a little somthin that would be sweet on the passenger huey.

Which flame code are you using? If your using the zippo one, it has a pretty good range, as for following the gunners view, you would need to put it as the ammo for the gun(not missle) and it should fire from the turret and follow the gunners crosshair.

im confused looking through your code... the code for the flamerloach right? i dont get how you guys did that. i think ive got an easy solution tho. i think active the gunbarrel or /we for the gunner's gun, then add flamethrower to that. im gonna try it, see if it works. if so, this could be really good. im gonna forget about the rest of da stuff on my request, pilot will just have to fly low and slow and learn how da f#$% to dodge a bullet. or two. or three. or four.
