ServerSide=Real testing, running a server on another machine, and connect to that server and play on it.

ClientSide=Only one computer involved.

ServerSide=Atleast two computers involved.

ur still not telling me where it goes!!! even if i only want it clientside, where do i put it!

i put it at the bottom like u said but nothing happens the game wont start with it in there

so would it go under the
rem EndOfFile

or above?

this be a mapside mod im tryin to make... but if it still dont work would i have to do a patchfile of my own map?

What do you think that is?
Let's break it down for you.

"rem" means that it will not read this line, it's just a remark.
The remark is "EndOfFile" and we all know what that is.
But becouse it doesn't need that line, you can remove it.

Now you can ask your question again.

Should you paste code before or after the removed line?
Hmm, can you paste it after a thing that doesn't excist?
Or should you paste it before the line that is gone?
This is the big question.

ok now understand that but what about the tank thats sitting above it? would that game think im trying to mod the tank and give it grenades or somethin? or am i safe just pastin it down there somewhere at the end

hehe that would be funny...a tank throwing grenades...

Had grenades in smoketubes on sheridan before, removed it and replaced it with a outboard engine, so it could run on water.

I think you have to seriously read the tut, you have to figure out what does what when you mod, then you can start working with it.

We are here to help, but we want to see some effort from the person we help aswell.

At moment it feels like I throw code into a black hole.
