Alright, here's my situation. I have a walker that flies and walkers super fast, like crazy fast, only problem is, the faster the walker walks, the larger steps he takes and thus the more damage it takes when he's going faster. Now, the major obstacle I'm trying to over come is the fact that my walkers will explode if they go too fast or land. I tried changing all the materials of the walker to 22 but it has no effect - I can just run into buildings at full speed now without blowing up or taking damage but it does nothing for landing.

How can I get the walkers to take no damage from falling?

Oh by the way, this is all done server side.

SpeedMod Property

Usage:
ObjectTemplate.SpeedMod number

Argument values:
argument 1: range is 0.05 to 3; most commonly 2

Description: This property modifies the amount of damage due to a collision. Setting this value lower means the vehicle will take less damage from collisions. In general, tanks tend to use a value of 0.75, while some (but not all) lighter vehicles and planes use 2.

Related properties: AddArmorEffect, CriticalDamage, ExplosionDamage, ExplosionForceMod, HasArmor, HasCollisionPhysics, HasResponsePhysics, Hitpoints, HpLostWhileCriticalDamage, HpLostWhileUpSideDown, Material

i figured it out. Walkers have their own material called something like veh_Mech_Falling or something and I changed that material. Thanks anyway guys!
