greetings.. we run the AIX2 mod for BF2
I have made the main bases and carriers uncappable but the flags dont appear on the minimap or ingame map as such ( they dont have the red cirlce with the slash thru it on minimap or ingame map)

any ideas on how i could accomplish having them displayed as uncaps in the minimap and in-game map displays?

It should show as an uncap on the minimap ect... sure you are checking "unableToChangeTeam" in the tweak, or check your gameplayobject.con see if the flag in question has the line.. ObjectTemplate.unableToChangeTeam 1 ;)

humm not too sure then, i've never encountered that problem, ive made many many many bf2 maps. Either its something aix have done to make it not show, or your doing something wrong. I know a few of the aix devs, ill try to remember to ask them if they know what maybe causing it.

That looks ok to me  must be somehing aix did then, guess they removed the image for some reason..

No the area value's have nothing to do with your problem and yea they are in the regular bf2. These are to do with the ticket bleed, when a team caps enough flags that the combined flag area vale reaches 100 the other sides tickets will start to bleed,(as long as they dont have 100 too) so say if you have 3 flags in total, set all to 50, then when you cap 2 of them, you reach 100, and other side would only have 50, so the bleed will start. ;)
