Could you post your PC specs, please? It took me 5-10 min to load a map with the computer I had when BF42 came out, but I had a REALLY sucky computer back then.

Actually, it would be possible to use only ONE con-file for each map. It is completely irrelevant in what subfolders the con are or what they are named. Only the GameTypes-folder would be required as it's used by BF42 to read out the possible gametypes for each map. You could put all objectspawners,...

Idk about that.

My statement was pretty much only a theoretical statement based on my experience (which is mainly CSM) and the few SSM moddings I made...and I most certainly never tried putting a whole map in as few .con as possible ;-)

It's a mixture of a network traffic problem as well as a problem caused by how the MP sound is setup. You would have to dive in the .ssc a bit to eliminate this. Had it fixed some ancient day, but I can't remember what the cause was exactly....

Why don't you just add them to the lexicon?? It's possibly they are not included, as their object code is name enough, e.g. for the Spitfire.

Just add the spitfire as a new line using the lexicon tool, name it whatever you want and you are good to go.

DesertFox, I'm not familiar with how unpure servers work, as I never play on them. I have a modded server avaible so I'm free to do whatever pleases me ;) . So I can't really say much about that matter. @al: Glad you like the tutorial! If there are questions, you spot mistakes or whatever, ask right...
