I have a different solution for you, find your 1942 shortcut, then where it says "+fullscreen 1" in the target box, change fullscreen to widescreen.

You could make a pco that you have to enter (just have jetpacks laying on the ground) and use helicopter engines (but have jet engine dummy so it looks like a jetpack) and give them a decent weapon or two

I personally use BC:vietnam to make my maps (terrain(not texture of terrain), vehicles, static objects, etc.) but I would like to learn how to texture with ED42 so I can have sweet textures in my new map.
