Desert is right. During development the plan was to make texture/europe also an alternative, but as development progressed it was decided to stick with 3 texture sets, Pacific, Russia, Europe. For sake of simplicity all "basic" textures became the "Europe" ones. And well, as it h... |

You safely can scrap that line. That's why this is "alternative" texturepath
If BF fails to find the specified texturepath due to whatever reason, it always tries to call the "default" textures for the objects. |

3ds max 9 doesn't work with BF42. And without the BMDT tools working with 3ds max is way more uncomfortable than working with Gmax and their BMDT tools... Autodesk did some heavy editing to the engine with 3ds max 8, so the only compatible versions of 3ds max are 5,6 and 7. I got a old license from ... |

Sphax, no need to append an invisible box.
A collision model added to the helmet mesh should do the trick just fine. Any other way would be even more unreliable. |
