BFV questions need to be in the BFV section.

You can find the machineguns that are added to the huey in it's objects.con inside the objects.rfa

If you open the standard mesh file of teh particular building and click the .rs link it will tell you what textures are used by the building. He's right, you can open .rs files with a text editor or with WinRFA. For example : subshader "SuburbHouse_1_closed_M1_Material0" "StandardMes...

Wow, it almost looks weird, with the nice lights and just plain one color walls.

Did you know that there is a WWII extended mod for BFV that converted almost all maps of '42 to BFV? http://www.filefront.com/5128812/WWII-Mod-Extended---Client-Files-0.9/ I'm downloading your map now, will look at it and see if I can get it to work! If you go and do the vehicles too I'd rip them from the WWII_extended mod.
