I have created a pretty good looking snow effect (that DOESN'T lag) and I will release it for modders to enjoy. Just pack into your mod (or map) and place on the map in patches of 1 per 500 meters. Porting BF2 stuff requires a 3DSMax tool. It's separate from the BF42 tools. Google the 3DSMax POE2 tool. I think it comes with the import feature. The BF242 UAV is launched from a UAV Trailer vehicle. Or commander vehicle as the mod calls it. It has no auto pilot or anything and is no different in how it works then that of the SA-3 guided missile or the Wesserfall. As for the hind cockpit issues...BFV has some known issues with the lod system ...
