Did you try adding the engine to a kitpart? You can only addTemplate handweapons, kitparts, and activekitparts to kits. Anything else would cause a CTD with a unknown kit part error. Try adding the engine to one of the kit parts. If you need a kitpart for only one kit (since many kits share kitparts...

Check out my DC Unauthorized mod. It has the sandbag weapon which is on the HeavyAssault kits. ;)

I just finished up a night conversion of Berlin titled: Midnight at Berlin. No Vanilla is just the term used for standard BF1942 with no mods. It doesn't mean you don't have the right version of the game. ;)

Yes you can make it for vanilla BF42. Just change the vehicle spawners, kit load out, and mod ID of the map.

You will need to add your own active commands for the vanilla jeeps and tanks if you want headlights on them. (as I did not make any for those vehicles)

Ahh yes good ol robo admin put in something to block all URLSs. He will make the effort to squash any attempt to take users to another forum, but just plum craps out when it comes to closing threads that are spam or just don't need to be open (like those annoying hacking threads about the Mafia clan...
