He He, didn't see this until now ... I did get involved into major contract work , and recently had a baby. I have withdrawn from modding BF1942, but i will be back in 2009 to mod in OPTs 21cw and maybe get BF2 Airwolf up and running. I frequently check and refer to this site, its still the best out...

the actual Crosshair texture can be found in client objects.zip weapons/cpmmon/textures/scopetexture hence, the crosshairs in that scope are really 3D, not just painted. The only way to fix this , would be to re-import the Model into 3dsMax with Rexmans Tools and remove the polygons out of the Scope.
