pfft.... I guess it just took posting my question to see the answer myself. I have the modded map packed into my copy of the DC El Alamein levels folder. If I follow the over write instructions, rename in correct areas, then build rfa, I should be able to upload the newly named El_Alamein_004.rfa to...

Ok...I'm just not sure where, on my ftp server to actually place the modded map. Do I place it in the BF1942 folder, or levels? Do I place the "folder" (el_alamein_001.rfa), or do I open and copy the four files in the Conquest folder? I realize this is simple, but when you don't know...wel...

I changed the name of the modded rfa to el_alamein_001.rfa I uploaded it to the server and directed it to the DC mod, levels It shows up there along with the original el al . I went to my remote manager and the 001 map isn't there. (don't know if it really should be) I loaded the game (on line) and ...

That sounds good. The rfa I uploaded to server was in caps. It is linux. But now, I can't get the server started through remote manager. Not even from member area. I had no problem before. Don't know if this is a separate issue or not. The server is down and I cant get it restarted. Contacted suppor...

Just to let everyone know, I was finally successful.
