| Thought I'd post here seeing as how it's directly related to mods anyway. I run a small 10 player Windows XP server using mod maps. I recently added Gazala to my rotation. Anytime someone tries to join when Gazala is the map, they crash to desktop when the map is fully loaded. I deleted the mod file... |

| Yeah, I guess I should have been more specific. It's a dedicated server running Windows XP. I have 3 computers total. Both the others will not crash when loading or playing via my network, only those that connect from the internet. |

Is this the original .rfa? I notice the "modified" date is today. The originals were something like 4/20/04 or something like that?

| Ok, this gets a bit stranger. I rebooted the server. I then tried to play generic BF42 Gazala and it works just fine. Tried DC Gazala (no mods) and still crashing to the desktop. Swapped out the map that was posted. Now it won't load the server whatsoever. That's just plain weird. Ok, I thought, I'l... |

| :roll: Ok, I have it fixed. A combination of screwups on my part and some info that may be handy to know for when someone else has a similar problem. Screwup #1: I used my "player" Gazala.rfa when I made the mod. As anyone who plays both single player and internet knows, there are subtle differences... |

| Yeah, mine does that "on occasion". I can't seem to find a pattern of any kind, just does it once in awhile. Seems to do it more the more I change before I save. |
