Make sure the name is above any other mod he has on the server.

It sounds like mapfile_003 vs mapfile_009 Make sure to have the number higher than what he has on the server now. He may not know he has another mod file.

Be warned there are some serious issues with BF1942/BFV and Windows 2003 SP2. Bots may not work and crash issues as well. Win2k8 is what we run all our 1942 servers from and it works great. you need to change to coordinates for this spawn up off the ground. You make his chute open but since he is on the ground its not needed.

Make sure its up high or its not much good for a para spawn.

The only one that will para spawn is the one you changed. If you want all to be para you need to change all the spawn templates and the height for all those as well. Remember, most spawn points have more than one spawn so you need to adjust the ones for your para. If you want to make sure its workin...

Change all of your USBase spawns(SoldierSpawnTemplate) to para and then set them all up higher(SoldierSpawns). It sounds like you want one group to para and when you only change one of that group you may not spawn at the one spot for a long time or you can spawn there many times over.

I get the headlight error and a HUD on and off issue on the night maps as well but its playable. It could be graphics settings that is causing this. Try maxing out the graphics settings in the video settings. Or the effects settings. That is, if you haven't done so already. There are lower settings? Kidding, I have had things maxed out for several years. I am going to slip in another card late...
