A client will not hear it if it is SSM. A Server Side Mod is a change for the servers version of the game. The only changes the client will see are to PCO's and how they react, without added effects. If you can find a way to add it to the DPV, and have the server transmit that addition over the net, then yes you can. To add a projectile to an object that doesn't have one. That is what you are trying to do. Changing a projectile is easy but adding one is unknown. I am still trying to add PCO part...

I have been attempting to do something along these lines but deeper inside the models. I added a rotational bundle from one PCO to another to see if it still carries the projectile addition. It doesn't cause CTD for clients but doesn't fire the new projectiles either. I gave up on it since I was was...
