This gives the patriot the same type of armor as the SA-3. Download this standardmesh_001.rfa and place it next to your standardmesh.rfa in your dc_final/mods/archives directory, then restart your map. http://www.toolazy2p.com/users/tanfhltu ... sh_001.rfa for an explanation on how to do this on your own, see this thread: http://toolazy2p.com/modules.php?name=F ... opic&t=897 except that i did it to all the patriot models, not just the base (there are 4 total). |

Well the reason why I don't understand much of the "material" Schtuph is I have Modded the Weapons Bunkers map to increase the capacity of the Bunkers against damage. It used to take 4 sticks of C4 inside the Bunkers in DC-F. Now I have it set so it takes 8 sticks. All I did was change the Materials inside OST.con with a "active" change. |

hmmm... yeah, i'm still a little fuzzy myself on the material thing... and it may not be an attacking collision material.. if u think about it, how does the engine determine which vehicle is attacking and which is defending? i'm not 100% sure myself i got the mesh material idea from this tut: http://www.planetbattlefield.com/mdt/tu ... orial.shtm |

The determining who is attacking is simple. Of the objects in question, the one which one causes more damage when its all said and done gets the kill. That is also why there is a lag spike from the server while it determines and then transmits who gets the kill or tk. Remember, angle of attack plays a big role in overall damage dealt. Therefore, sometimes, it is determined buy who had the better angle if they both were destroyed, as in accidental vehicle-collision tk's. |
