I'm currently developing a revamp of the PoE Mini Mod and now has been renamed to: DC Unauthorized.

It will also be reset to version 1.0b and will go from there. It will feature a ton of new stuff most notably some BF2 stuff.

The new mod will have working AP Mines and a BF2 version of my favorite tank...The Tunguska. BF2 sound effects have also been ported and the Gulf of Oman map will have all the BF2 ambient sounds! A few statics have been ported from BF2 as well. The out door pools, the Hotel, Gas Station, the large construction crane, and the US Carrier LHD2 (or wasp as it is referred to in BF2's con files).

The beta will be ready once I finish up placing the rest of the grass objects for Gulf of Oman. You can see what the grass looks like so far in the latest video. :P

Just note that it won't be a public release due to the BF2/BFV content for obvious reasons. However, you can beta test it if you request it via PM or email. (once a release is ready)

Um, I don't see the point of no public release. You can use any of EA's stuff in a mod can't you? Could you at least send it to people who're interested? (like me :D )

From what I heard it only allowed in backwards type mods. As in, you can port '42 stuff to BFV or 42/BFV stuff to BF2. But when you do it the other way around, then EA will have a problem with that.

I don't think EA cares about anything we do....Especially in such an outdated game like Bf42. Of the games involved, BF2 is only one they even still make isn't it? Seriously, I don't think they care. I'm really sure they're gonna sue you over a mod for a game they released 8 years ago. And with your permission could I have the AP mines for my mod? (If I ever get it working) I always wondered how to make them work.

Feel free to use them. However just know I wasn't the brain child of it. Marshall Nord, the main dev of the upcoming Global Front mod came up with it. Though I did add some improvements like a indicator effect and a new sound effect for it.

i dont hink ea would care about this considering desert combat took some bf2 things too. looks awsome though :D you should put a link for people to dl from im sure it would be a major hit

Good work on the mod. I checked out your "Gulf Oman" map you made and got the train to spawn ( I made it a PCO ) and move down the tracks every 4 minutes. Now we gotta get the F-18 in the mod. PM me with the download link for this outstanding mod you made.
