I need the no-kiddin scoop on what programs to use for bf1942 if you want to modify an objects 3d design. From taking an existing object, say an aircraft, then editing the shape, then getting it back into the game, all without going bananas with twelve different programs. Anyone know the tools really needed? Thanks, in advance- |

3dmax or Gmax seem to be the popular software. Good luck bro, it's harder than simple modding. |

you want to get hold of 3dmax 6 or 7.. later versions dont support the mdt (mod development toolkit) Once you have the toolkit installed you can import a model to max.. do whatever you like to it.. and then use the same tools for export. There are plenty of tutorials out there but there is no scoop on how to do it I'm afraid. Has taken me years. Basic model modification and then getting in-game is not too crazy though.. but we are talking basic. |
