This is one of the most interesting mods I've seen after the repulsion gun (and I made this one ). This makes a FULLY USABLE chi-ha turret on top of an APC. I looked at the code to change weapons from a mafia map (they added a flak gun to their hanomag) and made it so a chi-ha turret goes there instead. I had to manually tweak the position coding so it would be in the right place. The turret is worked by the number 2 spot, like usual for the hanomag, but the gunner's view is that of the chi-ha tank. Here's my code: rem ***APC Tank*** ObjectTemplate.Active HanomagShield ObjectTemplate.Removetemplate 0 ObjectTemplate.Removetemplate 0 ObjectTemplate.addTemplate Chi-ha_Tower ObjectTemplate.setPosition 0.00/1.82/0.00 and here's a screenie <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v440/girhen/Crazyworld/SCREENSHOT20170606copy.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a> For the blackmedal, I did the same as the hanomag but tweaked on a top turret from a B17. Position 2 is the gun, 3 is the passenger. One of my clan mates described this as "cute". My map is not yet released, but I'll post a link when I finalize it all. The map has MANY more and interesting mods on it. On top of what? The hanomag? Or the Blackmedal? For the Hanomag, it would be easy, I wouldn't even both adding the whole AA gun at all, I would just change the top turret projectiles to an AA projectile. For the Blackmedal, just use the same code, but tweak it a bit for the AA: rem ***SUPER BLACKMEDAL*** ObjectTemplate.active Blackmedal ObjectTemplate.addTemplate AA_Allies/Flak38 ObjectTemplate.setPosition 0/0.63/0.5 You also might have to do some postion tweaking to get it good. |
