I am currently working my way through the regular BF42 maps and I will post them in this thread as they are done. We are fortunate enough to have 2 full time server and any of our modded maps can be tested on our Auxillary server... "{YGD} Clan Server [AUX]"

Modifications:

AXIS: Added 4 BF109's. Also added 6 flak guns which spawn next to Fighters on runway.

ALLIED: Added 1 SBD and 3 Spitfires. Also added 6 flak guns which spawn next to Fighters on runway.

GLOBAL: Added a No Mechanized Camping (kill zone) modification around both main bases. Planes are not effected as the runways of both teams are heavily fortifird with flak guns.

El Alamein - TDM

This mod allows for air attacks on main bases, but both are heavily fortified with flak guns. You can also enter main bases on foot but mechanized camping will not work as you will see.

Modifications:

AXIS: Added 7 Flak Guns, one near north towers and six next to hanger, Added 3 BF109 and a B-17. (B-17 is setup to continuosly spawn like in Coral Sea)

ALLIED: Added 1 SBD and 3 Spitfires, added 6 flak guns at airport. B-17 is also setup to spawn continuously.

GLOBAL: Added a No Mechanized Camping (kill zone) modification around both main bases. Planes are not effected as the runways of both teams are heavily fortifird with flak guns.

Summary: Each team now will have six Fighters, a Dive Bomber and a Heavy Bomber. Each of the Fighters will spawn next to a flak gun which help cut down on runway campers.

Modifications:

AXIS: Added a BF109 that rapid spawns. Also added a flak gun near the plane spawn point.

ALLIED: Added a Spitfire and a flak gun. Spitfire also rapid spawns.

GLOBAL: Added a No-Mechanized Camping kill bubble around both main bases. Also added a flak gun at each outpost. Also each team can fly over own main base to repair and reload planes.

Notes: Although the runways are short, both teams can get airborn, may need to relocate the planes. With lots of flak only skilled pilots will last in this mod.

Modifications:

AXIS: Added a BF109 that rapid spawns. Also added a flak gun near the plane spawn point and 3 other flak guns in main base. Added Light Tank that spawns next to the APC and a jeep that spawns just out side of main.

ALLIED: Added a Carrier which rapid spawns a Fighter and a Bomber. On the beach I added a Light Tank, an APC and 4 flak guns in various locations.

GLOBAL: Because of the size and nature of this map there were no comping modifications made. Also added a flak gun at middle outpost.

Notes: Axis runway is a bit rough although you can get up without damage. Axis can quick repair & reload by flying over own flag pole. Allied can do the same by flying over Carrier.
