Hey all

I finally got around to uploading my map pack to Filefront. This pack has 7 maps that we run on our DCF co-op server (along with the stock ones). These maps run in vanilla BF42 as well as DCF, and have full AI support (Huge thanks to Cajunwolf for the AI on SWAT XL, and some of you SSM guys for additional support!!!) Feel free to distribute, mod, alter, fold, spindle and mutilate!

The first map I ever made, set in a NW logging environment.



SWAT by Hakai
A very small infantry-only map where all the fighting is contained to the indoors. Great fun with lots of bots or balanced clan skirmishes. The objective is to push the other side back to their spawn.



SWAT XL by Hakai
Expanded version of SWAT with some fancy AI and more pathing options, as well as added spawn points.

Top of the World by LC Hakai
A map I made to experiment with vertical combat, the map setting is on the side of a massive mountain cliff. Vertigo anyone?


*Note, SWAT XL does not run on Linux servers for some reason. If anyone could figure out why I'd be eternally grateful!

i'm sure you know this already but the name has to be all lower-cased to work on a linux server.

Yeah, I'm aware of that and trust me I tried everything. Stubborn little map, it just wouldn't go. I haven't tried it in a while although since I have a Clownservers (why do they insist on Linux game servers?) game going again I might try poking at it some more. I remember spending many a frustrated hour trying to get it running and don't particularly look forward to it again.

Hold the phone, after running these through another test, I've discovered the bridges in "Hakai Pass" were missing in the DCF mod. I've re-assembled the map pack with the corrections and am uploading to Filefront now, I'll correct the link as soon as it's ready. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but the bridges are kind of needed and of course without them in the client side they just ain't gonna show up.

PS SWAT XL still crashes Linux servers. Boo! (Works great on Windows servers, tested)

Ive played these maps a long time ago they were very well constructed good job man
