I have checked out many original maps created by some very talented mappers from this website and they are quite good.

So in the interest of promoting the construction of original maps, here is a map I designed called "Target_CrossRoads" that you may ALL use as a template.

Please feel free to make the heightmap, place the bridges, outposts and anything else you think would make this map more fun to play.

Notice how the map is designed so that there are NO dead ends and the bases are evenly spaced and the ENTIRE area is utilized for gameplay.

Recommended map size = 2048 x 2048 ( 4096 x 4096 = even better ) ;-)

This map has not been constructed yet. ( just got the idea about an hour ago )
I submit this overhead map diagram for anyone that is interested in creating a new map but may like some suggestions for the general map layout.

:arrow: So which one of you talented mappers will it be that constructs the first version of this map idea ? 8-)

It's a bit big. But like you said it's a template.
So if you used only half of it...

I haven't made a map in a couple of years now, but I might try to scrape the rust off my Battlecraft and give it a shot if for no other reason than to see if I remember how.
