I hate to ask this but could you give me a download link for the video. I'm having technical difficulties with firefox and adobe flashplayer. thanks, this sound really interesting even though I have no idea what this is about. |

Very interesting. Would definetly be interested in how you did that. Looks pretty odd as it starts/ends directly at the shoreline but the concept is interesting nevertheless . Would be especially interesting for river maps or pacific island maps with a shallow coral bed around them, actually everything that involves moderate deep waters. |

Just fix your flashplayer problem and you can see it too Pretty unlikely that you have encountered a programside bug when everybody else in the world runs flash without probs... And it's just what the title suggests: An animated seabed texture. Instead of having regular terrain textures underwater, fo0k managed to apply an additional layer which simulates the reflection of the waves on the bottom of (shallow) sea. With an animated texture. And that's cool. |

geez sorry. Shepard gave me a video of it. that's pretty damn sweet. just about anything is possible to fake with the proper use of models, textures, animation, and code. |
