It's been a while since ive done some creative stuff with server side mods...so im gonna start out easy and attempt to not mess anything up ;)


El Alamein Conquest BF1942:
*Chi-ha replaces panzertank.
*Lynx replaces willy.
*Kettenkrad replaces kubelwagen.
*Blackmedal replaces M3A1.
*T34-85 replaces sherman.
*T34 replaces M10.
*Sexton replaces Priest.
*Zero replaces bf109.
*Aichival replaces stuka.
*Katyusha replaces wespe.
*Ho-Ha replaces Honamag

*I will probably add more sometime ;) Just trying to get a server up right now.


Servers hosting on:
N/A (Depends...if my internet stops disconnected every 2 and a half minutes when i port forward, haha)
---I will try it out on 1.6 so all the cheaters can enjoy it...if it dont work out, then i will try it on 1.61 --- if i ever get a server. I will also have more maps modded...stay tuned ;)

[Already have Agheila modded...gotta fix/add somethings tho] {And working on caen, but might drop that map}

1) Not everyone in 1.6 is a hacker.

I think the fact that Plats House of Love dropped below 30 players basically everyday it had PB enabled for like a week, and when they finally took it off and got 64 players on...Thats pretty much the whole version hacking..... :razz:

Jk but most of them do.



Anyways does anyone know why my internet always disconnects every 2 and a half minutes when i port forward? If it would work i know i could get 17 players on :twisted: Cuz Aryan hosted one and got that many...(without lag) he has the same internet as me also.

1) Maybe they dropped players cause PB kicks ppl randomly in 1.6, partly cause of the version being abandoned causing malfunctions, secondly because people don't know how to update. It also kicks you if you have any modified files in your game (such skins or removing the startup menu in game.rfa). I put PB on my server once and it kicked a whole server for no reason including me and my second in command (who told me to put PB on). So no we're not all hackers but I know of a few. It's all *MAFIA*'s fault.
2) Why port forward? Won't it work any other way?

2.) what do you mean by that? I am behind a router. And I even tried DMZ but it disconnected 2 and a half minutes later also (But it connects right back up, and keeps repeating)

That's probably your ISP being mad about you running a server on a home network connection. Some block open outbound ports by only allowing it to be open for a short period of time, as if for a file transfer or a small thing, and not a always-running dedicated server.

And it only started over this past summer, it use to be just fine before that.

Well actually, Over the summer i was hosting a custom map server and there were no problems. But early on in the summer i couldnt host anything.

I am able to host 2 players...once the third guy joins it kicks everyone out :)
