one habit i've been getting into while making ssm's is i've been importing a small text file in the main map directory called ssm.txt or server_side_mod.txt with a description of everything the rfa does. one handy thing about it is i'll have like 50 billion freekin rfa lyin around... all _001.rfa, and all different sizes and i'm like "crap... which one was the one i did this on?!?!" |

ah ur using the include line have done that many many times my self as well good for others to know about this so they can keep things nicely separated i always make an OSTfile and a OSfile using the include line at the bottom of the original ObjectSpawnTemplates.con or the ObjectSpawns.con this way u can easaly find back the things u altered or added into a SSM greetz RED |

lol guys was just serving arround and replying to topics i dont care for date/time and stuff well any how the topic has been blown new live in . iIstill now enough people NOT using the include line, and they keep meesing up their mods. Simply cuz they cant find back all the things they have done in it . So thats the soul reason i replied by just saying (advising somewhat) to make an include, for ObjectSpawnTemplates.con and for ObjectSpawns.con to keep a bit of track in the things they do. but for the people wo are sharp of mind u could just always add a rem line into ur mod saying what it is greetz RED |
